Ramy joined CBS News in 2019 as Asian Correspondent and when the Covid-19 global pandemic hit in January 2020, he was the first US Network Correspondent to report from Wuhan in China. He closely followed 6the transmissions reporting across China, South Korea, and Japan. Ramy stayed in Japan for six months due to international Borders Closure.
He worked for Bloomberg Daybreak prior to joining CBS News. There, he served as an anchor and correspondent based in New York. Moreover, he served as anchor for Bloomberg Radio where he launched two daily podcasts about US-Asia Pacific Economic and Financial ties.
