Peter Alexander is American journalist currently working at NBC News popularly known for his white house correspondent role since 2012. Currently he co-anchors Today the Saturday edition. Together with Kristen Welker they are the Networks co-chief white house correspondents.

He became the station’s white house correspondent in 2012 a title that he is most famous for.

Earlier, when starting his career he worked as a lead reporter and substitute lead anchor KCPQ TV in Seattle. Alexander interviewed President George Bush during the 2000 US presidential campaign. He has also worked for KHQ TV in Spokane and WKYT TV in Lexington.
