Marc Brown Career
Brown’s career began at KIEM-TV in Eureka California in 1984 as a reporter. Additionally he worked with KOLO-TV in Reno Nevada also as reporter and an anchor, KNTV in San Jose California and also in KFMB-TV in San Diego California.
In 1989 he landed a job at ABC7 in Los Angeles as a reporter. In 1996 he was promoted to be the weekend anchor and weekday anchor at 6pm news cast. Later the next year he was added another anchoring role in 4pm newscast. In the year 2000 he was given the duty of weeknight 11pm newscast anchor and was the second African-American to become a primary anchor of weeknight show. In 2007 he and Michelle Tuzee were given the task of anchoring the eye witness news at 5pm and 11pm which they do up to date.
Throughout his career he has won 4 Emmy awards, a golden mike award and an Associated Press and a Radio and Television News Director Association award.
