Career
The journalist began his career at Reuters as a package producer where he served for one year. He joined Daily News Egypt as a Multimedia editor in 2009 and worked until 2011. In addition, he was also working at Times Magazine as a freelance video Journalist.
CNN network hired Lee in 2011 and by then he was living in Egypt and served as correspondent based in Jerusalem. During the same year he reported about Libyan Revolution, and at that moment he was injured by a rocket propelled grenade that exploded next to him killing an ambulance driver.
Lee’s reports has earned him several awards including, Emmy Award for revolution in Egypt, Tom Renner Award and Peabody Award.
