When she began her career, zee worked for several media companies which includes; WEYI TV in Flint, Michigan, WYIN-TV in Merrillville, Indiana, WLAV FM and WOOD-TV both in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She interned at WBMA LD ABC 33/40 in Birmingham, Alabama. She also worked at NBC owned station WMAQ in Chicago, Illinois and during her time here she was once asked to fill in as a guest meteorologist on the today show which fulfilled one of her big goals.
She gained national recognition after joining ABC News on Good Morning America weekend. From time to time she appears on ABC’s Nightline and ABC World News Tonight. She became ABC’s chief meteorologist for GMA and weather editor on 2 December 2013 after replacing Sam Champion who landed another job in weather station.
