To gain some practical experience, Katie interned at CBS Sports. After graduating she landed a job at WDRB in Louisville Kentucky. After working for a while she left for FOX Sports Wisconsin where she covered the Milwaukee Bucks 2018 and 2019 NBA Season. Later she joined ACC Networks in 2019 and was promoted to ESPN in 2021.
