Career
Tapper began his journalism career in print media in 1998after he was hired by Washington City Paper as their senior writer. Other places he worked includes National Public radio, The VH1 and has published for The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, The New Yorker, Weekly Standards and the New York Times Magazine.
He moved to ABC News in 2003, as host and anchor. After the 2008 presidential election he became the senior white House correspondent. He served at ABC News until January 2013 when he joined CNN.
