Clarissa Ward is a British-American Journalist, currently known for serving as CNN chief international correspondent based in London. For almost two decades Ward, has reported from around the world in countries like Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Iran, Yemen, Georgia and Ukraine. Formerly she worked as CBS News and ABC News as a correspondent based in London and Moscow respectively.

She joined ABC News on October 2007 and worked as worked as Moscow based correspondent a job she left on October 2010. In October 2011 she was hired by CBS News as Foreign News Correspondent and was also a fill-in anchor for CBS This Morning.
Ward joined CNN in September 2015, to report for all CNN platforms and in 2018 CNN named as Chief international correspondent. In her career she has always being a war correspondent covering reports on conflict.
