Bill weir is a renowned American broadcast Journalist who works at CNN as a correspondent and anchor based in Manhattan. He is the creator and host for The Wonder List with Bill Weir a global documentary series. Previously he worked at ABC News as the co-anchor of Nightline and also Good Morning America.

After completing his studies, Weir landed a general assignment reporter as well as weekend sportscaster job at KAAL in Austin, Minnesota. He changed his work station and moved to WLUK as sports anchor in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Weir became the WGN Morning News anchor and later sports anchor in KABC TV in Los Angeles.

He landed a job in ABC News in 2004 and in 2007 he was the anchor iCaught an ABC News Magazine. In 2010 he co-anchored Nightline alongside Terry Moran and Cynthia McFadden. He joined CNN on October 2013 as an anchor and chief innovation correspondent and in 2015 he created and broadcasted The Wonder List with Bill Weir.
