Linden Soles Career
In late 1970s Soles was a host for CBC Radio Program called 90 minutes with a bullet. He joined CNN in 1993 and before that he worked in Canadian radio stations like CHIQ-FM in Winnipeg and also television stations like CKND TV in Winnipeg, CKVU TV and CHAN TV in Vancouver in British Columbia. In 1998 his employment contract was terminated due to management shake up by Rick Kaplan after Kaplan concluded that the station had too many anchors for viewers to keep track of.He once taught at the University of Winnipeg, and Red River Community College courses on News and Documentary production. Througout his journalism career he has earned himself various awards including Canadian Association of Broadcasters President’s and Gold Ribbon Awards, National News & Documentary Emmy and NATPE International IRIS.
